VERY IMPORTANT RECOMMENDATION:
Before buy any kind of aerial photo system on a web site:
Visit the physical company in order to see and test the product.
If it is not possible to visit the company ask for detailed pictures of:
The platform, the remote control and quality aerial pictures.
Also ask for references to contact other clients from that website.
 This is an altafoto recommendation to avoid you bad surprises.

IMPORTANT DETAILS TO CONSIDER BEFORE BUYING A REMOTE
CONTROL PHOTOGRAPHY SYSTEM
Altafoto has been working during last 5 years not only developing new equipements
 but also giving photography services in our area so we have developed and improved
 new equipements from the knowledges from the field.
All our equipements has been developed and manufactured by us.

SIZE OF THE BLIMP
The size of the blimp is a very important thing to consider. The blimp has to be the smaller as possible.
 Small blimps are easy to transport it and it is easier to lift and take it down and cheaper to storage it.
A 10' blimp is not the half of a 18' blimp because the 18' blimp
 has a width of more than 7' and the 10' blimp has a width of less than 5'.
It is not recommended to buy a blimp bigger that 15' long.


BLIMP DESIGN
Blimp is the most aerodinamic shape to be elevated with helium.
But not all the blimp designs fly as well. A good blimp has to have a frontal design
 a little sharp and a rear design very sharp to evacuate the air properly.
The fins must be rigid and not the ones which need air to be inflated, The rigid fins act inmediately.
A blimp with high net lift does not fly better for this reason.
 The most important thing is the aerodinamic design of the blimp.
For example: Our 10' blimp has a net lift (platform and camera hanged) of less than
 0,5lbs but due to its aerodinamic design flies perfectly and it is very easy to take it down.



WIND
Blimps in general are designed to fly with winds up to 30km/h
But in order to take pictures with it the maximum wind speed has to be less than 15 or 20 kms/hora

REMOTE CONTROL
PORTABLE PC IS NOT A GOOD OPTION FOR OUTDOOR WORKS.
 IN SUNLIGHT CONDITIONS YOU WILL NOT SEE THE IMAGES ON THE SCREEN AS GOOD AS IT IS NEEDED.
 ALSO, A PORTABLE PC IS NOT POSSIBLE TO HOLD IT WHILE YOU ARE STAND UP.
YOU MUST SIT DOWN IN ORDER TO OPERATE PROPERLY WITH A PORTABLE PC AND OUTDOORS IS NOT ASY TO FIND SIT.
THE REMOTE CONTROL HAS TO BE AS SMALL AND LIGHT AS POSSIBLE.
The monitor has to be integrated into the remote control
All the remote control has to work with an unique battery.
 Some remote controls use 3 batteries (one for the monitor,
one for the Servos Radio sender and another for the video signal receiver.
The monitor has to have a high light in order to be able to operate oudoors in sunlight conditions.
Big monitors do not allow to have a good view in sunlight conditions.
The remote control has to be very light in order to operate outdoors.
The shooter has to be with a joystick and not with a switch because with
 the joystick we can act first to the autofocus and after to the shuter.
The horizontal rotation has to be of 360º but without end. You must be able to rotate to one direction
 more than 360º (all the time you want to the same direction)
You must have a main power swich and a secondary swich wich allows you to turn
 off the monitor and video reciver to save batteries.

BATTERY CHARGER
It is very important that the equipement include a Digital Battery charger
 which stops automatically when batteries are full charged.
The charger has to work at home and in the car lighter.



VIDEO TRANSMITTER
This is a very important item on a Remote control Equipement.
All the video transmitter has interferences but we need a very low level of
 interferences transmitter in order to be able to operate in a professional way.
 

MANUAL WINCH
The manual winch has to be as smaller as possible in order to allow you an easy carry to one
 place to another while blimp is up there flying.
The electric winches are not well operative for Aerial Photography systems.
The manual winch has to have a automatic clutch to make the lift easier.
